Hello everybody,

First newsletter of the new year. Hope you all started the new year well and looking forward to new and good times ahead.

Neil celebrated his 51st birthday this month and he was overwelmed by all the messages he got from all over the world. Its good to see you all remembered it and wished him a happy birthday.

So what are the plans for next month....

German tour.
In less then 2 weeks (febr. 10th) Neil's tour in Germany/Austria starts. Joining him on stage Gary Nuttall and at some gigs even Neil's girlfriend Sachi and their son Johnny will be there as well. So everybody thats going to one of the concerts are in for one (or more) exciting evening of grand entertainment. Not that i want to add anymore pressure on Neil's shoulders by saying this....lol. We all know he will be doing a great job anyway! Now if you all listen to his album very carefully and memorize the lyrics, so you can all join in and sing along when he's performing, it will be even better!

I will record two of the concerts on video myself so all of you who can't be there will be able to see it later.

Dutch gigs
In march (16th and 25th) are 2 solo acoustic gigs planned in the Netherlands. We tried to add more to make it a minitour, still working on that but its all a bit short notice so he might be back later in the year in Holland for more if we can get it all organised. So stay tuned.....

Acoustic album
Neil has been working on an acoustic album. Some acoustic versions of songs of his album No Self Control, some older songs that never been released on cd before and a new one. Its going to be released by the Hypertension label this summer but i already can reveal the names of the songs that are going to be on it.

For all you lucky ones that attend one of Neil's gigs...an early pre-release of the acoustic album will be sold at the gigs as well.

Fanclub info
We've had some problems with the mobile version of this site. It seemed fixed 2 weeks ago but now its back down again. So for now the site is still visible through your mobile devices but only the normal full webversion. Sorry for the inconvinience.

The website has been upgraded to a pro standard. That means it will have more storage for photo's and video's, we were almost out of storage so it had to be done if we want to get all the upcomming new photo's and video's in the already large archive on this site. So now we're good to go for at least the upcomming two years.

The fanclub membership will stay free of charge but if you want to make a donation to help out with the costs of hosting this site...you're more then welcome:D. Just scroll down at the sidebar and click the donation button...you can deside yourself how much you want to donate.

The number of members of this site is now around 1800, but if every one of them is a fan is doubtfull...some members have real funny names and emailadresses...(SPAM) and profiles which mention viagra website etc....lol. So every now and then i'll check new members and will delete those that i think are fakes. So if you have or want to make an account make sure you use a real email adress and normal name.

Hi everyone,

This is already the last newsletter of this year. And what a year it was, It seems a good tradition at the end of a year to look back at what it brought us. And it brought us a lot! so lets review what all happened this year. Read the full year review HERE

So here we are december 2011

This month Neil did his live support tour for Midge Ure in Germany. He was able to perform in great mostly sold out venues for an enthusiastic croud. Although most people that were there never heard his music they gave him a warm welcome and lots of aplause. I'm sure he gained lots of new fans. We welcome them in our mids and compliment them on their fine choice in music ofcourse ;)

Ofcourse we got some great photo's and video's made by several fans that are all placed here on the fansite.

Neil did some radiointerviews this month and they're also on the site in the media section.

So what's up for next month?

Neil's birthday ofcourse at the 26th...so don't forget to wish him a good birthday on his fb page, his website or email to neil@neiltaylorfanclub.com

Looking a bit further ahead there's another solotour in Germany/Austria planned in february. 15 gigs starting on the 10th ending on the 26th. So thats a gig almost everynight. You can watch all the dates and details in the calender on the fansite or at the special event i made on facebook.

Now all thats left for me to say is thank you for all your support this past year and happy, rocking new year to all.

Hi everyone,

Wow last month did go by very fast hasn't it....

I thought a new month...great time for another lay-out on the fansite....so i dug up an very old black and white photo and placed it as a new background. I will probably will do that more often...not sure if it will be every month though. but if any of you feel creative...please send in your backgroundpics and maybe i will use it for a while on the fansite. For next month it will be great if we can place a nice christmas/new year theme.

So here's a summary of what happened and a preview about whats ahead.

Neil was guest at a few radioshows. 2 of them are placed on the fansite in the interview and review section and another one will follow when i've editted it. You can also hear Neil's 11 year old son Johnny Ray being interviewed...and that is for a good reason....

Johnny Ray has his own song out. Its called "the best dad in the world". Its a real tear jerker and is about dads that are away or being missed. A very cool video is made for it as well. You can see it on the official youtubechannel and here on the fansite. Its available on itunes and a donation from every download will go to the Help for Heroes Charity. Help for Heroes is a charity that support soldiers after they're wounded in battle.
There has even been made a special page on facebook to get him to nr. 1 on christmas...that will only work when you all help out and download the song...its only 79 pence (UK).
So please help out and download Johnny Ray's song and ask all your friends and family to do the same...its for a good cause and its a really great song!

Johnny also turned on the Christmaslights in Trowbridge last night and signed many autographs..he was very cool about it Neil said. They played Johnny's song and as he walked to the stage people gave him a big cheer. Photo's to come soon hopefully.

Like i mentioned in the last newsletter Neil will perform 8 acoustic shows (without Gary this time) as supportact for (ultravox singer) Midge Ure again in Germany. For all the dates and details watch the eventcalender on this website. To warm up for the shows he will do 2 acoustic shows at The Canal Tavern in his hometown Bradford On Avon, this Tuesday and Thursday about 9:30pm. So if you happen to be in that area pay the tavern a visit and make some pics for us who can't be there.
Same question for the Midge Ure support tour...if you'll visit one of the shows...and can make some photo's or even video's for all us who can't be there...that would be awsome and much appreciated.

Talking about video's...some new footage of the gigs Neil did earlier in Germany are now made public.. The songs Shout and No God were made by me at the gig in Hamburg. We didn't put them on before because of the bad audioquality...but the footage is just to great to keep it away from you. You can view them on the fansite and the youtubechannel as usual.

Did you do your christmasshopping already? You have only a few days to profit of this months sale on the online shop. Untill the end of november all items in the holidays section will be 20% off. So don't wait much longer and order now. Also because it has to be shipped from the USA it will take some time to be delivered.

monthly newsletter october 2011

Hi everyone,

What an exciting month it was....

The release of Neil's first solo album through Hypertension music, and the first 4 live shows to promote his album in Germany. Neil was joined on stage by Gary Nuttall (als guitarist for Robbie Williams).
It turned out to be a golden pair....The extra guitar and backing vocals by Gary made it very great and exciting to look at.

Ofcourse a full band would be the best...but the electric guitarparts weren't forgotten in this tour as he played it on some songs with a "recorded band" in the background. That was a brilliant move i thought...because the moment he takes that electric guitar he's transforming into a rockgod on stage...:D
Besides the songs of the album they sang some other beauties like Robbie Williams' Angels, Tears for Fears' Shout, Gary Nuttalls' Often (obviously perfomed by Gary himself) ,the song I just Woke Up Tonight from his Dogwoodalbum and a fantastic new song called Self Addicted.
The Hamburg gig where Gary and Neil were absolutely comfortable on stage and even invited supportact Cy Curning to sing with them on the Tears for Fears song Shout, was without a doubt the highlight of this great start.
Making jokes with the audience and peftorming and singing like an angel....like he never did anything else..chapeau Neil!

Ofcourse we have beautiful photo's and video's made for you and placed here on the site and youtube channel. Another Dutch fan, Maikel, even held an interview for the fanclub with Neil after the first show, and placed some videofootage between the interview. You can watch it here in the videosection or directly on Maikel's own youtubechannel.

And this is only the start to more and better.......

In december he will perform 8 acoustic shows (without Gary this time) as supportact for (ultravox singer) Midge Ure again in Germany. For all the dates and details watch the eventcalender on this website.

More plans for live shows for next year are in the making....so keep checking this site, facebookpage or all the other official pages for updates. I'll only post dates here when they are confirmed, so you won't be dissapointed.

New giftshop.

A new giftshop is gone online from today....loads more absolutely amazing gifts for yourself or to give away. T-shirts, baby wear, mugs, buttons and stickers and even jewelery. There are only 2 designs added at the moment but more will follow soon so keep checking the site. New Contest!!!

In the last newsletter i announced a contest but there were no entries...so i'm not sure if you just aren't interested in winning a signed cd or you all just didn't read it. I desided to give it another try though...this time you can win a singed cd with a signed tourposter.

Album release and more.....

Album release
The is album is released now in most european countries since two days. Tomorrow the album will be available in the UK.
From Tomorrow also the album is worldwide available on amazon.co.uk and on play.com (both as dowloads) and ofcourse as download on itunes.

The cd should be available in all major recordstores from september 30 th If you want to buy the cd go to your nearest major recordstore and ask for it. Or just pre-order it online on amazon.co.uk or play.com.

For all of you going to one of his shows in Germany...the album will be sold at the show and you can even have it signed as well. Watch the calender on this site for all the details and dates of the shows.

More shows
Besides the acoustic 4 shows Neil is going to give in Germany (acompanied by Gary Nuttal), he wil also support Midge Ure (frontman of Ultravox...you know....from the worldwide hit 'Vienna') on his solo acoustic tour through Germany in december this year. Gary will not be on these shows..so it will only be Neil and his guitar. ;)
More info about those tourdates and tickets can be found on Midge Ure's official website. I will post all the dates of this tour in the calender on the fansite later.

Other then that there will be some shows in Austria next year in february. No details are available yet but will let you know when they are.

New video

There's a new video out of the song "Everybody Seems To Know My Name". Another masterpiece filmed in the lovely town of Bath by Will Clements. You can watch it on the youtube channel or here on the fansite.

Radio Interviews

Neil did 3 radio interviews recently. One of them recorded at HFM is placed on the site. Its a very nice interview hosted by Richard Oliff. You can hear Neil play the song "i never said" live with Sachi on backing vocals.

Then he also was on the radioshow 3geese on bbc radio bristol. He played the song Walk Away, and a video recording was made in the studio of that and is now streaming on the site in the videosection.

The third interview was on the Mark and Sandy show at radiostation 103the eye. Always lots of fun there in the studio, he played a few songs live with sachi on backing vocals as well. an audio stream will be put on the fansite soon.

I made a new page for all the radio interviews and i will put all the old interviews on there eventually as well.

Well i think that's all i got to say for now. Maybe i'll see you at one of the concerts and if not...rock on!

acoustic tour Germany

Neil is going to do a small acoustic tour in Germany to promote his album there. from 5 untill 8 october. For all dates, details and ticketinfo watch the calender on the fansite

Neil will be joined on stage by good friend and guitarist Gary Nuttal (also from the robbie williams band).

Neil will be signing his cd after the shows as well.

I hope lots of you can make it to one or more shows!

Hello everybody,

Another month flew by so fast that�i almost forgot it was time for another newsletter. I think this will be a short one though.

So what happened the past month....
Well for one..Neil placed a blog on his silvermusic site which you can read HERE. He talks about the upcomming release of his album and more...so go visit his website and read all about it.

Like i mentioned in the previous newsletter, Neil was enjoying a holiday with his family at his house in Spain the past few weeks.
He pointed out at his facebookpage that now his holiday is almost over, he's really looking forward to promote his album. So far he talked about possible promoting activities in Germany and Italy. Lets hope other countries will follow and hopefully Neil will reveal some dates for us real soon so we can try and attend some promo activities if possible.

I mentioned it before, but will do it again...we can all help promote him and the new album by mentioning him at your local radio/tv stations. If any of them are interested in playing his music, doing an interview etc. they can�email�to: press@neiltaylorfanclub.com�(mails are forwarded to Neil directly).

So whats up�for next month
Well needless to say...the release of Neil's album No Self Control ofcourse!! We have all waited so long for this and now its finally going to happen..a release by a recordcompany and available in stores! to remind you all: release all over europe is september 23, release in the UK september 26. Other countries can buy the album at Amazon.

And to celebrate the release i�just thought up a new contest for you all, to win a signed copy of the album.

Fansite changes.
I'm still working on some changes on the fansite.
The radio interviews are temporarely not on the site but will return...don't worry.

I've done a test with an mobile app. for this site but in the end was to expensive and to actually go along with it. This site already has a mobile version. Meaning that if you search for this site adress thru a mobile device you automatically will see the mobile version of the site. For now i think that is enough for the amount of people that use it.

The funpage is back up and running with some new features like an exciting guitar game...go have a try and not to get to addicted.
The music/download site is now only for stream and downloads for members.

New/old music on the site
I've managed to get my hands on a vinyl album of Violent Blue released by Magnet records in�1985. Violent Blue was Neil Taylor (guitar/vocals), Charlie Jones (bass/vocals) with Tony Heyes (drums) and Phil Andrews (keyboards).
They only made the one album called: You've got to stay young. And one single: I won't give in losing you.
I've copied the entire album and b-side of the single�from the vinyl record to mp3 and placed it on the fansite for you all to listen on the open musicpage HERE.
I must appologize upfront for the poor quality of the recording...i couldn't get it to sound any better with the software i had. With some internetbrowsers the musicplayer isn't working. It's working with Internet Explorer but if you use a different browser you can try listen to it on soundcloud HERE.

So not such a short newsletter after all ;)

Hi everybody,

I'm back from my holiday all refreshed and with new ideas for the fansite...but more about that later.
First lets have a look whats been happening the month and look ahead to what's comming.

Record deal and release album
The biggest news last month obviously was that Neil has signed a record deal with Hypertension Music for his album, No Self Control for Europe/Scandanavia. The releasedate is set on september 23 for Germany and september 26 for the UK. Congratulations Neil...

Second album?
Neil told us on his facebookpage he's already writing with Steve Torch new music for his NEXT album! wow he's really on a roll! This album is not even released and already he's talking about a second one. I'm sure i speak for all of us when i say: "You go Neil...make us happy with your brilliant music! We don't mind at all, we never get enough of it..."

New pictures.
New picture from Neil at home where placed on his facebookpage and are absolutely stunning. Most of them were shot by Neils girlfriend Sachi and some others by Tanya Lock. They're now also on the fansite in the photo section.

Debut on USA radio
Neil had his debut with his new album on US radio. The internet radio station http://www.rocknoldies98.com/ played some songs of his new album and also had an telephone interview with Neil. The interview can be heard on the fansite as well now...in case you missed it.

Fanclub news:
Changes on the fansite
The plan is to make some changes on the fansite on some pages....especially the downloadspage is going to change drastically. I do however have to figure out the best way to organise it all....it will take some time but hopefully it will all be finished before Neils album is released in september. When its all going the way i planned, you will not have to sign in anymore on the fansite to listen to all the radio interviews and only the music downloads will be especially for members.
The funpage i made isn't working the way it should so i will work on that as well. I probably will make some other changes along the way but i hope all for the good.
Hopefully we can have some sort of contest again as well .....so please be patient...good things are on the way ;)
New facebookpage
I had to make a new facebookpage for updates of the fansite because the application that was made for that didn't work anymore all of a sudden. We also have the group on facebook ofcourse, but that hasn't got some of the options that a app. or page has. So we now have a regular musicpage again on facebook where i will place all the updates of the fansite as well. The page is called (very obvious) http://www.facebook.com/neiltaylorfanclub
A content box of the page with live stream comments is also placed on the homepage of the fansite.
The group on facebook still stays active ofcourse and can be used to place all your thoughts, photo's, comments, video's etc.

What's to expect for next month and beyond?
Well...who knows....;) I hope, like the rest of you some more news...maybe more live shows...a tour? I really don't know....i guess we have to sit and wait..... ;)
I do know that Neil is going on a well deserved holidaybreak with his family. So i already wish him a good and relaxing time without to much internet and facebooktime ;)

Hi everyone,

Ik can't believe a month is already gone since the last newsletter. So time for me to give you an update. Lets start with the good news:

NEW video!

The Video for Would You Love Me is out !! A really brilliant song and wonderfull video starring besides Neil: his son Johnny Ray and girlfriend Sachi on vocals and Steve Torch on bass and Thea Hudson Davies on drums.

Song for Bath contest.

I told you all about Neils song Everybody seems to know my name had been nominated to be a local anthem in the song of bath contest. Unfortunately the song didn't win in the end, but Neil had a great time performing in the final and they got some nice footage out of it for the video clip of the song.

Release second single.

The Everybody Seems to Know My Name was also choosen to be the second single and supposed to be released on june 15. But it seems it got delayed for some reason. So we have to wait a bit for that. I'm sure will let us know when it is available on itunes.

Album of week

His album No Self Control is already been album of the week on many radio stations in the UK but even in other countries. The album will be released mid july.

Shows in Portugal

I already announced it last month; Neil is going back to Portugal to do some more showcases on 23 and 24 of june. Look at the calender on the fansite for all the details and links.

I'll be on holiday soon for a few weeks so to keep up to date and know about the upcomming releases of the second single and album please follow Neil's artist page on Facebook .

Newsletter may 2011

Hi everybody,

So here's another newletter for you. We're looking back on the past month and what Neils been up to and have a look at what his plans are for the next xouple of weeks.

Promo's in Portugal.
In case you hided onder a rock...Neils been to Portugal for promoting his album. He did a showcase of a few songs live, and was interviewed by local Radio and TV. It was all a big succes and thats why he was asked back again in june for some more promo's! He's going to do 3 live acoustic showcases, 8 TV shows and some radioshow. How fantastic is that?! To bad we don't all live in Portugal hey...but i'm sure we'll see some video's of it afterwards.

When he got back from Portugal he could straight go to some UK radiostations for interviews and live performances on there as well. If you happen to miss it...don't worry, the interviews can be heard again on the audio/music page on the fansite.

Release second single.
Neils second single will be: Everybody Seems to Know My Name. Release date is set to June 15. The song is already been played on several radio stations with some good respons!
Song for Bath:
The song is also been nominated in a local songwriting contest called Song for Bath. His song has choosen out of many to finish in the last 10. He will be performing the song in the final of the contest on june 2nd. For more info and tickets for the event: Go to: http://www.songforbath.co.uk/

Free downloads for members.
Two of the songs that Neil performed live during some of the radiointerviews are now up for a free download at the fansite! Its Cocaine Blues and Walk Away. have a listen on the audio/music page in the community section. next to the musicplayer is a button mp3 download where you can dowload it to your computer and have it on your mobile device for listening over and over again.

So as you can all see Neil is getting more and more busy and it seems his album is starting to get more and more airplay and you know you can all help making it a hit by letting other people know about it and ofcourse download his music on itunes.

So..untill next month...or earlier if i have something exciting to mention for you :) in the mean time...keep checking Neil's facebookpage, this fansite, our fangroup, twitter, fansite application on facebook, myspace...or wherever you hang out on social media.
