Hi everybody,

I'm back from my holiday all refreshed and with new ideas for the fansite...but more about that later.
First lets have a look whats been happening the month and look ahead to what's comming.

Record deal and release album
The biggest news last month obviously was that Neil has signed a record deal with Hypertension Music for his album, No Self Control for Europe/Scandanavia. The releasedate is set on september 23 for Germany and september 26 for the UK. Congratulations Neil...

Second album?
Neil told us on his facebookpage he's already writing with Steve Torch new music for his NEXT album! wow he's really on a roll! This album is not even released and already he's talking about a second one. I'm sure i speak for all of us when i say: "You go Neil...make us happy with your brilliant music! We don't mind at all, we never get enough of it..."

New pictures.
New picture from Neil at home where placed on his facebookpage and are absolutely stunning. Most of them were shot by Neils girlfriend Sachi and some others by Tanya Lock. They're now also on the fansite in the photo section.

Debut on USA radio
Neil had his debut with his new album on US radio. The internet radio station http://www.rocknoldies98.com/ played some songs of his new album and also had an telephone interview with Neil. The interview can be heard on the fansite as well now...in case you missed it.

Fanclub news:
Changes on the fansite
The plan is to make some changes on the fansite on some pages....especially the downloadspage is going to change drastically. I do however have to figure out the best way to organise it all....it will take some time but hopefully it will all be finished before Neils album is released in september. When its all going the way i planned, you will not have to sign in anymore on the fansite to listen to all the radio interviews and only the music downloads will be especially for members.
The funpage i made isn't working the way it should so i will work on that as well. I probably will make some other changes along the way but i hope all for the good.
Hopefully we can have some sort of contest again as well .....so please be patient...good things are on the way
New facebookpage
I had to make a new facebookpage for updates of the fansite because the application that was made for that didn't work anymore all of a sudden. We also have the group on facebook ofcourse, but that hasn't got some of the options that a app. or page has. So we now have a regular musicpage again on facebook where i will place all the updates of the fansite as well. The page is called (very obvious) http://www.facebook.com/neiltaylorfanclub
A content box of the page with live stream comments is also placed on the homepage of the fansite.
The group on facebook still stays active ofcourse and can be used to place all your thoughts, photo's, comments, video's etc.

What's to expect for next month and beyond?
Well...who knows....;) I hope, like the rest of you some more news...maybe more live shows...a tour? I really don't know....i guess we have to sit and wait.....
I do know that Neil is going on a well deserved holidaybreak with his family. So i already wish him a good and relaxing time without to much internet and facebooktime
